This Privacy Policy describes how TurfBrain (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information in connection with your use of the TurfBrain platform, website, and services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1.1 Information You Provide
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name and email address.
Project Data: When you use the Service, you may input turf measurements, site plans, shapes, dimensions, and related project data. This data is stored in your account to provide the Service.
Payment Information: When you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe, Inc. We do not directly collect, store, or process your credit card number, bank account details, or other financial information. Stripe’s handling of your payment information is governed by Stripe’s Privacy Policy.
Communications: If you contact us for support or provide feedback, we may collect the content of those communications.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you use the Service, we may automatically collect certain technical information, including your IP address, browser type, device identifiers, operating system, referring URLs, and general usage patterns. We may use cookies or similar technologies to facilitate this collection.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Process transactions and manage your subscription

- Hosting and Infrastructure Providers: We use cloud hosting services to deliver the Service.

4. Data Retention
We retain your account information and project data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it. Aggregated, de-identified data that cannot reasonably be used to identify you may be retained indefinitely for analytics and product improvement.
5. Data Security
We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your Rights and Choices
6.1 All Users
- You may access, update, or delete your account information at any time through your account settings.
- You may delete your account by contacting us at getturfbrain@gmail.com. Upon deletion, your personal data and project data will be removed in accordance with Section 4.
- You may opt out of non-essential communications by following unsubscribe instructions in any email we send.
6.2 California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):
- Right to Know: You may request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
- Right to Delete: You may request that we delete your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.

Residents of Virginia (VCDPA), Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), Utah (UCPA), Texas (TDPSA), Oregon (OCPA), Montana (MCDPA), and other states with consumer privacy laws may have similar rights to access, correct, delete, and opt out of certain processing of their personal information. 7. Children’s Privacy

The Service is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
